Anything can happen in this game but this matchup is favorable to Gladiators the most, not to underestimate Pokiris team which is a very well balanced one. Ravi Narla, Ravi Teja and Shanmugham have been blazing the entire season but the buck stop here. Reply

Not a chance. Pokiris Ravi Teja will make sure Viju Bhai Arjun Ronak Hari and Anoop end day on loser list. Gladiators Cricket Club will finish runner up like last year. Feel bad for Viju Bhai but he cannot do anything. His Naseeb is bad. Kishan know best because he played SF and can see gladiator weakness and he pick smart. Pokiri top 2 more than enough to make weakness full visible to all. Sorry to disappoint but after game you will admit I was right. Pokiri peaked at right time. Glad gang will be disappoint big time. OK Ravi Teja Fan, Mat Kha Bheja 🙂 Pokiris has been consistently performing , Gladiators have peaked at the right time. You are very disappointing and looser talking, to come to finals itself is big achievement. Good luck , lets talk after the finals is over. Reply

@ DCL Fan – Whoever you are I am pretty sure you are a piece of work. If I had to give you a name then it would be Dumbo #1. How dumb can a person really be, you provide an argument and then proceed to use that same logic to prove that you are beyond dumb and ignorant. Please allow me to elaborate on your numskull knucklehead convoluted logic ….. you say Kishan knows best ….. If Kishan knows so much and could see the Glad Weakness so well then why in the world did he and his team not beat the crap out of us, why in the world would he allow us to take on Pokiris. Wouldn't Kishan be better off if Bridges took on Pokiris in the finals. A top class team like Bridges should have made mincemeat of us if our weaknesses were so well known. That makes no sense. That is like saying I know 2 plus 2 equals 4 but I was so confident that I answered 2 plus 2=5 on the test and flunked the test but I still think I am a Math Champ that I can answer questions on Bessel's function and Laplace equations in my sleep. Stop hallucinating. What are you smoking buddy!!!! The fact of the matter remains that when an opponent makes one set of moves against us we then counter that with another set of moves and trust me DCL fan we are not some boneheaded dumb Matador standing in the middle of the bull ring wearing red saying "Aa Bhail mujhe Maar!!!" ….. Trust me DCL Fan …. We will do our best to give a full and fair fight and no amount of bull from you (pun very much intended) is going to stop us from entering that ring with every intention of exiting that bull ring alive ….. the only question that needs to be answered on game day is who is the Matador and Who is the Bull and who will leave the arena alive …… I do not know the answer to that question and am very sure that you do not know the answer either …. That is why they play the game and the outcome gets decided on the field of play …. Hopefully we have learnt a few things over the years and know a thing or two and we trust we have the answers to all the questions that are posed to us. So please chill for 5 days and then come and enjoy the game and by the way please do not feel bad for me, I will survive irrespective of the outcome. Ciao baby!!! Reply

Congrats to Pokiris and Glads to qualify. Viju – Please try to start game late morning or in the afternoon if possible. Because, 1. Morning will be very cold and
    2. most of the spectators want to watch all game under nice weather. Could you try to schedule around 11:00 AM or after. Talk to Pokiris and committee if you can. Reply

Not an issue Hamid Bhai as game is slated to start only at 2:30 PM but looks like the game maybe moved to 1 PM assuming both teams signoff on it. This year the Committee has been very proactive in making sure that the teams are given all opportunity to fight it all out on the field of play. It will be cold but that time probably is best for all. I do think the game will be a good game so fans hopefully will get a treat. Looking forward to the day like everyone else. Reply

When is DCL 2015 starting? Reply
    • January 22, 2015
May 1st week or 2nd week. Many guys verbally asked the same so I guess a number of folks are just waiting for the weather to get better. I am hoping that the prognosticator of prognosticators Punxsutawney Phil will not see his shadow so that we can have an early start 🙂 Reply

How one can join team Gladiators for DCL 2015? Reply
    • March 17, 2015
It is pretty simple – Please send an email to the Glads Skipper (vijuzach@yahoo.com) expressing your desire and he will get in touch with you. He will try to see what your expectations are and what he can honestly do. He will also schedule an evaluation so that expectations can be realistically assessed and give you an honest evaluation so that your season is not needlessly spoiled due to promises that cannot be delivered – Bottom-line we will only promise what we can deliver. Once you are on the team then you are on par with everyone else on the team and you become part of a select few that get to play against some of the best teams in the League and you can be assured that the Glads Management plays no favorites and decide everything on merit. We do not collect any League fees nor ever ask you to pay for anything like uniforms or membership dues or eats or drinks – Those are all perks of being on the team – We only ask that you give it your all on the field of play and make your teammates and yourself proud by the way you conduct yourselves and people should know you by how well you play. We will do our best to make sure that you get all the exposure that you richly deserve. We will treat you like how we would want you to treat us if we had joined your team – That has always been our motto. We also do not force out anyone on the team just because someone better came along rather we add players based on how many we lost from last season. We are in it for the long haul and chemistry and camaraderie are more important than good players who are high maintenance and a constant source of headache for the Glads Management. Reply

Just based on performance I would say Rai should be #2 on this list and I am surprised Parthiv and Arjun are not on this list so I would have to say this list needs a little bit of work Reply

Any update on schedule ??? Reply
    • April 4, 2015
Schedule should be out very shortly now that we know that the 2 lottery teams TCA-Stars went to Pool A and Lions to Pool B. Randomization within the 4 talent pools after declaration of schedule blue print is all that remains ….. I assume grounds will all work out in time Reply

Dear Luke Skywalker – Season will start most probably on May 9, 2015. You asked for info by email but never provided an email id. I assume space travellers do not need an email id that travels at snail's pace compared to the speed of your spaceship. What can I say Skywalker – I would have thought that with a lofty name like Skywalker to boot you would be travelling in spaceships at the speed of light and location should not have been a problem at all – Why restrict yourself to Canton when you can see all game including the ones in Lansing in the twinkling of an eye 🙂 Reply
